Aims and Scope


The types of articles published in Near East Historical Review (NEHR) are as follows:

Provided that they are related to historical science;

Original research articles

Monographies

Articles produced from doctoral dissertations (the decision to publish should state in a footnote that the articles of this type were produced from the dissertation)

Other types of articles will be evaluated only according to the scientific value of the data/research provided.

All articles submitted to NEHR by the author/s are subject to initial peer review by the editor.

After approval by the editor, they are evaluated by at least two independent referees who are experts in their field using a double-blind method.

NEHR provides immediate open access to its content.

NEHR supports the greater global exchange of knowledge with the public.

NEHR is published electronically in two issues per year, every six months (April-October).
