Mısır Hidivi Mehmet Ali Paşanın oğlu İbrahim Paşanın askeri seferi Yunan Bağımsızlık Savaşının en dramatic kısmını oluşturur. Abstract
The expedition of Ibrahim Pasha, son of Egypts ruler, Muhammad Ali, constitutes the most dramatic chapter of the Greek War of Independence. According to the established scholarship, Greeks revolutionary war against the Ottomans nearly was over in favour of the Porte. From the close consideration of the available sources, nonetheless, is quite a different conclusion that emerges: Ibrahim Pasha was already preparing his war against the Sultan Mahmud II, and accordingly he was trying to find potential allies.
