Abstract
Bar Kalesi Osmanlı Devletinin serhat kentlerinden biridir. Yerleşim yeri ve askeri amaçlarla kullanılmıştır. Osmanlı buradaki kendinden önceki mirası muhafaza ettiği gibi bölge ekolojisine de tarımsal üretimde yeni katkılarda bulunmuştur. Çalışmamızda arşivden elde ettiğimiz Bar Kalesi krokisi üzerinden yöredeki Osmanlı varlığı ile ilgili askeri, sosyal ve ekonomik veriler değerlendirilecektir.

Abstract
The castle of Bar was one of the border towns of the Ottoman State. It was used both as a settlement and as a place for military purposes. The heritage from the pre-Ottoman times in the vicinity of the town had been protected with the hand of the Ottomans and besides that some innovations in agriculture had been introduced to the ecology of the territory. In our study, the existence of the town in the last years of Ottoman rule along with its military, social and economic aspects will be estimated by looking into a sketch of the castle of Bar from 1863, obtained via the Archives.
