Abstract
II. Meşrutiyet Dönemi’nde gerçekleşen düşünce alanındaki değişim eğitim-öğretim faaliyetlerini etkilemiştir. Okulların öğretim programlarındaki düzenlemeler ders kitaplarındaki değişimi beraberinde getirmiştir.
Bu çalışmada İhsan Şerif (Saru) tarafından 1915 (R. 1331) yılında ibtidailerin devre-i mutavassıta kısmında okutulmak üzere yazılmış olan “Çocuklara Tarih-i Osmani” adlı ders kitabı incelenmiştir. Bu çerçevede, II. Meşrutiyet Dönemi’nde ibtidailerdeki tarih öğretimi hakkında değerlendirmeler yapılmıştır.

Abstract
The change in the field of thought that took place in the Second Constitutional Era affected the educational activities. The regulations in the curriculum of the schools brought about the change in the textbooks. In this study, “History of Ottoman for Children” was examined. It was a textbook that written by İhsan Şerif (Saru) in 1915. The textbook gives clues about history teaching in primary school in the Second Constitutional Era.
