Near East Historical Review (NEHR),  is an open access, internationally reviewed, scientific journal published every six months (April-October) that includes original research articles, document reviews and book reviews in Turkish and English.

The NEHR started its publishing life in August 2011 under the name of Studies of the Ottoman Domain (SOTOD). It was published as two issues per year within the six-month periods (February-August). After the August 2019 issue was published under the name of SOTOD, the name of the journal was changed to Near East Historical Review (NEHR). The NEHR publishes original research articles in history. The NEHR is an international refereed journal and it is published electronically in six-month periods  (April and October). The NEHR publishes maximum 20 articles in each issue. The publication language of Near East Historical Review is Turkish and English. The NEHR publishes previously unpublished original research articles and interviews. Articles submitted to NEHR should not be under evaluation in another publication venue.
